Fished Blairs last year. If you have low water you have only one pool to fish at the top of the beat. Unfortunately it's also fished by an association on the opposite side, so be prepared for spinners and the like being thrown across the pool. It can be good but you won't have it to yourself. If you have some water then you have some other bits to fish, but it's not classic salmon pools. It's long straight and quite slow moving.
However you should have a chance of fresh fish. Hope this helps.

Hi Paraffin,
I fished blairs last year for a day in the last week of september, i had one of my most successful day flying fishing to date. I had 7 for the day - 5 sea liced and 2 coloured fish. I was using a carron line with a fast sinking poly leader and a size 8 ness C. I am on the last week in september this year and hope to have a good week. Best of luck

tx for that info.Never realised there was association on other side I thought quite a bit of it was double bank.Still it is a freebie from work so will enjoy the day anyhow.
