Not there till week/c 19th June, hope there will be some big fellows still around then! Hear you had some success on the Tyne? Ian H was on Upper Hendersyde Mon, Tue and Wed this week, they had 7 and lost 4, I should have been there Mon but the boss intervened! That's life!! On Lower Birgham Mon 5th June with the Corbridge guys. Mike

I see Wester Elchies have some rods available September
Would these be worth going for?
Willie Gunn - I see you are the contact on the Fishspey website
Any advice would be most appreciated

Well it depends, there will be fish on the beat but usually they are pretty coloured, not all but most. The earlier in September the better. If you get a sudden change in conditions, rise in water frost etc then you can have an excellent day.
Probably worth the money.
