My mum collected a load of old T&S's and other game fishing publications from an auction recently and i was having a read through them a couple of nights ago.
One copy that did catch my eye was from early 1979; referring to spring fishing on Castle Grant in 1978.
Castle Grant anglers, fishing the first week of May, landed a total of 200 salmon for their week - all on fly.
How many rods fish this water? Does anyone know what the Spey rod catch was for that season?

Andrew I think Castle Grant fishes 10-12 rods over the three beats, depending on the time of year.
