Can anyone offer advice on these beats, do they offer the chance of a fish or two mid march to end of April..??
I have been enquiring about the odd day here on the various beats during this period, but before I confirm dates I was hoping someone could tell me if it's worth the journey or not at this time of the year.

WG is the man who can advise you. Thank you for the vote of confidence, you tell me the water height and temperatures and I will tell you. The Brae is towards the mouth of the river, if the water is cold and low you could do well, higher and warmer and you will not even see the fish, they will pass you that quick. Brae has fished better the last few years in February and March but mid March to the end of April I would prefer to be further up the river. Craigellechie /Wester Elchies/ Tulchan

WG,
Thanks for the info, I have a few days at Craigellachie mid April.
I have a gap in my fishing from mid March to end of April, looks like I will need to keep looking for something else.
Thanks SAY
