Hi I am going up to Pebbles next week salmon fishing. I have fished the Crown water a couple of seasons ago, has anybody got any info on the Peeblesshire Salmon fishing Association (permits from Cardrona Hotel) and if they had to choose between Crown or Association which would they fish?

Last time I was there Peebles was still in Scotland ;D
One or two on here fish the Cadrona beat. I would go with this, a bit further downstream than the Crown water with better fishing. The fish seem a bit reluctant to head up that far this season, or so I'm told.

Hi Rob you noticed the deliberate mistake. I will try put it in the right column next time. Thanks for the info I think I will give Cardrona a go.

Well had a great time around Peebles and fishing at Cardrona, only had 1 seatrout (2lb returned) to show for the 3 days we fished (washed out the last 2) but thats how it goes. Had a great craic in the pub with our fellow rain warriors and met some realy nice people. Thanks for the info Dunbar it was spot on, hope to see you next season and hope the rain gives you a break for the last couple of weeks.
