Hi all.
We will be having our next speycasting day on the Thames in London on the 17th September 2006.
The venue will be as usual the Ship Inn, Ship Lane Mortlake, next to the Budwesier Brewery.
Please pm me for directions.
We will have a range of rods to try out including the Bloke 13"6' speycaster, various B&W models, Sage and Loomis, I am awaiting confirmation of the Guideline series of double handers being available.
All being well we will have a range of Carron lines to try courtesy of Willie Gun,
All are welcome.

Thanks Lawrence looking forwrad to catching up.
Will also be organising a Christmas spey casting jobbie with the strong possibility of drink being involved.
I am working on an event for next year to held at either Chelsea Harbour or Regents park with a decent competition, a wide range of manufacturers etc.
Details will follow.
Thanks,

the 85'er casts like a dream on an 18' norway, this was the set up ( along with a range of poly-tips) that i used for the bulk of my back end fishing on the spey and ness last year, on a couple of occasions on the ness I caught fish with the whole line out!! wit the 18' tho you really do need a 10' poly tip to get a sufficiant anchor for long casts, as 85' is not quite enough to form huge 'D' loops with a rod of this length!!
