Remploy, the manufacturer of the 'Englands' anglers range of lifejackets have issued the following message: Urgent Recall of Life jackets. Remploy are recalling all life jackets sold under the name: " England's Professional Life jacket." These Life jackets were sold between October 1997 and July 2006. DO NOT USE THEM. RETURN them to the nearest Remploy Life jacket Service Station. If you're unsure if it's your lifejacket then check with the company you bought it from who will have a list of serial numbers. I understand the problem may be with the maual inflation system, where fitted the automatic operation is not affected. I'd urge all anglers who have one of these to return their jacket ASAP. A picture of the 170N 'Professional' lifejacket can be found at the following link and by scrolling down a bit: shop.lifejackets.co.uk/acatalog/Lifejacket_Fishing_Angling_Lifejacket.html If you've any queries drop me a line (no pun intended).
