thinking of day tickets on the deveron this spring.
ive fished rothiemay many years ago, but thats it.
anyone have a recommendation

I've fished most of the beats that Frank has to offer and I'd echo Graham's comments. Having said that Lower Mountblairy was my favourite beat and did give an early salmon in about 1998. Are the upper and lower beats now combined Graham?

In all 15 beats available on a daily ticket basis at £10 per day during Feb/March.
Some beats have accommodation on them if you wish to take a weeks fishing.
If it is not too cold then My money is on Avochie to take the first fish- unless Corniehaugh gets fished hard after last year.
Rob mentions Mountblairy- I have it up for a syndicate from 12 Feb to 27 May all but one week.
