Hi everyone , new to the forum and salmon fishing but would just like to give a big thanks to the members whose posts over the past year have without a doubt saved me tears and money. It is good to know that for a beginner like myself( 1 year) that people are willing to put back into the sport and share their knowledge.

Welcome Weed, Glad you've "joined up", where's your regular river ? Any pics - there's a couple of good close season memory shots going about to help us all through these long, dark days !!

Good river the Tweed Weed, where do you fish it and when? There's a few good rods here that I'm sure can help with advice on what lines, flies and times to fish the Tweed, and if you're thinking further afield, don't hesitate to ask here - someone's bound to have fished where you're thinking of, and could help with advice there too !!
