Hi everyone , new to the forum and salmon fishing but would just like to give a big thanks to the members whose posts over the past year have without a doubt saved me
tears and money.
It is good to know that for a beginner like myself( 1 year) that people are willing to put back into the sport and share their knowledge.

Thanks Altmor, normal river is the Tweed , hoping to spread my wings and venture further afield as I get better. Sorry no pics takes me all my time to work computer

Good river the Tweed Weed, where do you fish it and when? There's a few good rods here that I'm sure can help with advice on what lines, flies and times to fish the Tweed, and if you're thinking further afield, don't hesitate to ask here - someone's bound to have fished where you're thinking of, and could help with advice there too !!
