Hi - I have been reading this forum for ages but though I would post about this one...
I am the diver that took that bit of video and I can tell you that it was an amazing experience - the fish were so close they were hitting my legs behind me as I swam up through them. We used special kit so we were nearly silent in the water so that we could avoid scaring the fish. The filming was done with a bog standard digital compact camera in a waterproof housing.
Hopefully soon I wil be able to catch one of them - 1 1/2 seasons of trying and not got one to the net yet (have hooked and lost a couple) - Knowing there are that many fish there means thay one good excuse for not catching is gone though I guess!
Cheers,
Duncan

Duncan,
Nice bit of footage. Enjoyed watching it.
Hope that pool is well watched by the bailiffs.

Nice to see the fish - how many do you think were in the pool during filming?
I guessing it's the Leggart T pool in September?

It was filmed on a sunday in early august as far as I can remember - I would not like to try to put a number on the fish that we saw, we were understandably a little excited and were prone to exageration at the time but there were definately 1000's rather than 100's across the bit of the river we filmed.
However - I fished it on the monday and not a touch - they must all have gone upstream overnight....!
