I always fish harder and feel more confident after catching a salmon - on the basis that if there is one salmon in the pool there is likely to be more.
Multiple catches were a big feature of my catches in 2006. Out of 11 fish caught, I had days of 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, with an awful lot of blanks in between.
I'd be interested to hear about other peoples experiences.

I too feel more confident with the first fish caught - This year on the R. Awe, my fishing partner and I had 11 between us by lunch time on our first day ! We then had 3 more over the next two and a half days ... ahh well ... there goes that theory.  |

ahhhhhh that one that got away!! ;D still having nightmares about it!  As for golf....... if the object was to curl the ball when it leaves your club... then i'd be at the top of the game....... unfortunately it isn't...... so i'm crap! ;D Golf ruins a good walk in my opinion! i just hope i dont start saying the same about salmon fishing!! NEVER!!  and as for e-bay Dennis.... i don't think i'll ever be that good! |
