Anybody any comments?

There is always a very high risk in July of no water and the Dee is not really the best place to be in July (unless there is a good drop of water in) - as the catches for Woodend show.
I have a week on Woodend at the end of March so can offer some advice after that visit. A few of the members have fished here so they may offer there advice.

I suppose we all take a gamble when we book fishing somewhere - if there is some water in though it would be good.
One of the things that attracted me to Woodend was the location and scenery - and obviously the particular area of the river suiting the time of year we are going to be there.
The brochure we got after booking looks very impressive. Can't wait.

Great Stuff
I think I may well book it, a lovely day out I would imagine, even if you did not catch a fish

Fair point - there are plenty of days we all go out and dont catch.
