Definitely not Tweed - low water and few summer fish, so Spey for me.

Prefer the Findhorn, but Spey it has to be.

None. The Dee and Tweed are not good summer rivers so really shouldn't be in this catagory. Try Ness, Lochy, Conon, Beauly, Findhorn

Storlaks,
The poll's for the "big 4" rivers of Scotland - time yet though - we could do the same for the rest.
Cheers,
Altmor.

Whilst my only summer day on the Dee was pretty successful, and I've yet to have a fish from the Spey, I would still vote for the Spey. It's a magnificant river and has a great reputation for summer fish (especially the lower river). However, along with others I'm also a big fan of the Findhorn and Helmsdale in the summer.
