Can anybody recommend a decent B&B or small hotel in or near Pitlochry? Within walking distance of a good pub scores highly.

Sorry I know it's not very helpful but I stayed in a very comfortable (and reasonably priced -£25/night) B and B that was on the left of the high street just as you entered Pitlochry from Perth. I think it was a bit beyond a tackle shop. I'm sorry I can't remember the name so that's pretty useless information if you need to book in advance. Pitlochry seemed quite a small town so I'm sure you'd never be far from a decent pub.

Looking on the internet, it looks like the place may have been the Atholl Villa Guest House. If so, the number is 01796 473820.
