If you were to have up to £500 to spend on a new salmon rod what one would it be and why?

I have ordered the new Hardy Swift 14ft DH and Swift Reel ;D which will cover all my fishing needs.
I have tested and caught fish with this set up and thought it was just the dog's danglies.
Can't wait until i get my hands on it and give it a cast.

Why is this question not in the "Tacle Talk" section?

Yorkshire esk it's not in the tackle talk because it is a general question and I decided to post it here.Springer I was just thinking if we had to choose one rod to use for all our needs. Alan
