True Mike, but I wasn't advocating quite such an industrial scale nor evading legitimate UK taxes. I recall that tackle duty is 3% and clothing 11% , add on VAT at 17.5 and you are still quids (roughly 30%) as long as the dollar price is similar to the sterling price and the dollar is wallowing at 1.9 ish. Lets face it, if people are willing to pay 40% on order value from the likes of Cabelas then the savings this route must be worthwhile. The biggest problems I can see is where the volume starts to get to a stage where the revenue deem it a commercial venture. That and the logistics of distributing the booty when back in the UK. Really was just wondering if it had ever been tried
