this one may be of interest to the people who have to travel a fair distance to fish the Tyne are you sick of ringing the environmental river line (at premium rates) to find how the height of the river, only to find that on arriving the river is Donald ducked, ???well Ive found a web cam for Hexhan Bridge on the Tyne, dos"nt give the height of the river but as its updated every few minutes you can see for yourself if the river is up or down if you look often enough, at the moment the Tyne is very low for the time of year with only compensation water from Kielder and only a few fish going through the pass at Riding mill at night. must be more web cams on other English rivers ?be interesting to find out how many could be of interest to the English fishermen,Why is"nt there a scheme in place like our Scottish counterparts which are not only up to date but are free ;D sorry nearly left the web cam sight out www.bluestarline.org/webcam_hexhambridge.htm

Personally i have always thought that to have one glued onto the end of my fly would be fascinating .... if a little disquieting at how many fish take a look.... then turn away!
