Hi everyone, I'm not sure whether this would be considered a commercial post, whether it should be posted in the Fly tying thread or what? To that end, I've decided to post it here in the General thread! Anyway, I have recently been in contact with Bob Kenly from the USA. He's the co-author of a new book that will be published on 30th April 2007 entitled : Tube Flies Two - Evolution. See a photo of the book cover below: If like me, you're an avid reader of all things fly fishing and fly tying, then this book might be of interest to you. The first book: Tube Flies, was published in 1995 but as we all know from the angling press and the superb collection of flies that are exhibited on this forum.....many things have changed in the world of the tube fly. This second book, co-written by Mark Mandell and Bob Kenly differs a great deal from the 1995 book; it features 213 flies and 35 different flytiers from 14 countries! Other than 'spreading the word' about what's new and what might be of interest to other forum members, there is no personal gain from this post. I hope this is acceptable? I don't have many other details at the moment but I am in touch with Bob on a regular basis. When I have more details I'll post them for you all to see. ATB

Sewinangler, Any more information about this? There is certainly a gap in the market for new books about tube flies; apart from the previous volume by the same authors the only other one I know of is Ken Sawada's and that too must now be slightly outdated.
