Had two and lost two during last two weeks. Not much about though. Just as poor as other east coast rivers.

According to the bailiffs, there had been 23 caught on the entire system up till last week. The Association beats have been particularly hard fished this season too, mainly due to a large influx of new members. I have no doubt that some of the 23 will have been kelts reported as clean fish. I know for a fact that one of the Fishdon website beats is not adverse to reporting kelts.

Have seen a good quantity of fresh fish around Monymusk, seems to have gone quite after a promising start. Think the bailiffs figures are a wee bit short.... odd that.

I have heard of some big browns being caught at Haughton and Monymusk. Do they count?

Don up nearly a foot tonight.
Will give Inverurie a try tomorrow.
If the water clears there may be something on the go.

Fished the Glebe and Cocker's Pool today. The water looked like hot-chocolate - just without the marshmallows and cream Saw a number of fish moving through very quickly. Had a good pull (blue/silver Toby) by the rock at the tail of the Glebe.
