Ideal for a spot of kendo wth the slopes on the car park prior to a pint of Snarling Black Mabel as per the famous '70s add before we get on to a game of Gook Roulette a la The Deer Hunter on the floating boat moored in Leith Docks. Must boot up the photos to show you what awaited after a day fuishin' at Lower Pavilion-all adds to the fun of the fair and delay at the Loss Adjusters BBQ where I recycled the Le Cie loot on a B&W. Huzzah! ZH It sounds like you recycled the Le Cie loot at Pataka on Saturday night !

Only Indian restaurant I've eaten in where they do a standing order from your Swiss Bank Account and mezzanine finance on the Cobra bill.
At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask while he robbed you.
They're in for a traditional "big crisps, poppa dem ovah here Gupta and then a runner before the After Eights arrive" night out shortly as recompense
ClaG can have the Hummer primed outside as I'm not as quick as I used to be.
Must pay the Loss Adjuster for that rod at some stage.........................

It will be interesting to see what accessories come with this new weapon. Maybe frodin will come out with a hollow point conehead. Guideline will bring out a kevlar fishing vest.
I gotta get one. Can just see myself in greenbank's 4x4 doing a drive by on the Cellar. With KC and the band returning fire from the north bank.
8-)Word up.

I can see a swift rotation of the bottom hand (starting handle style) doing wonders fur ma snakey roll.............in fact I know a man who will be able to bring a whole new dimension to his swirly-whirly swishy swashy casts with this baby It may become a competitor against the soveriegn and hexagraph in the best harling rod stakes - the shape of the handle might help keep those valued Magnum reels out the crud you find in the bottom of the boat. Hey guys think about the advantages, no compatability problems such as does the Jocky M work with the Loomis GLX etc etc, this baby is clearly designed purely for shooting heeds

Splash you snitch...fancy keepin' the Gangstas frae us...... www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tyIMOd7U6c&mode=related&search= Good spot CLaG, Well worth 9min to watch - especially with the gangsta rap intro . Having seen it in use I have a sneaking suspicion that, gung-ho as it looks, there is probably something in the design. As someone who spends a significant porportion of his working life involved in ergonomics I understand how small improvements in design can have significant benefits to efficiency and reduction in repetitive injuries. I think that this is one either for those that cast with a lot of bottom hand already, or would benefit from increasing the use of the bottom hand. No doubt a few will start to appear next spring when the viking hoards come on their pre-season tour to the Dee. CD

CD I agree although watching the video, it looks like an over zealous cast or contact from a biggish fish will cause that rifle butt to be pulled right up into your nads - painful

I have to say, that I can see merit in the design. I f'ing hate the look of it, but I do see the advantages. When casting with the emphasis on the bottom hand, I find that the vertical angle of the rod is limited by the limit that the torso imposes. In other words, one is forced to cast in a more(?) horizontal fashion than one might with a top hand dominant casting stroke. This rod might just make the transition from top hand dominant to bottom hand dominant more manageable for some casters. It may also make the underhand cast more flexible for those that use it regularly. I must add the usual caveat... I am far from professional in the casting arena
