Looks more like a Winchester rifle than a fly rod.

Looks like they were designed by Charlton Heston and his cronies at the National Rifle Association

Looks like they were designed by Charlton Heston and his cronies at the National Rifle Association Yes they must be taking the multi-tip line concept to a riduculous extreme; aye you can shoot n fish with the same tool. I liked the smaller pistol grip version n'all. If Sage can get a TCR version together I can see it appealing to a well known member of this forum though, just for the sheer wind up value alone and Zephead could use it to scare of the Triad hordes

Perhaps you could persuade them to donate one to the Line/Rod pool ?

It may look crap, but if you think about the dynamics of the cast, I think it could work well !

Would be interesting to try one out before commenting...
The idea appears sound enough especially with the shift towards underhand casting.

The gobbier you are the more stars you'll get. You will be rated on how good your posts are which determines the amount of stars you have after your name. If you put a really good post on the forum you will achieve more stars, also the colour of the stars will also change.

What I will be investing in though is one of these. Back end shooting head line stick problems solved forever and no more ridiculous loop formations Go to the section on double handed casting and check out the video www.flexi-stripper.com/PS- PAT this is not what you think given your earlier post on strippers on the "best fishing huts" thread ;D cheers Splash

It may look crap, but if you think about the dynamics of the cast, I think it could work well ! Except, potentially, as the bottom hand is considerably below the angle of the reel, you are creating a booby trap of monumental proportions between the running line and reel by creating that suck the line in gap behind the reel and handle, particularly if you use a left hand wind reel. As an observation the person in the picture hadn't looped the running line; most unusual for a Viking. As a bottom hand speycaster, I'm curious to test the impact of moving the counter weight (aka the position of the reel relative to the casting lever). It would certainly be interesting to give it a whirl Splash, as you haven't bought a new rod for a couple of weeks........

I have : got another Le Cie of Zephead and very nice it is too but I'm not planning to covert it to a bullworker just yet....

Ideal for a spot of kendo wth the slopes on the car park prior to a pint of Snarling Black Mabel as per the famous '70s add before we get on to a game of Gook Roulette a la The Deer Hunter on the floating boat moored in Leith Docks.
Must boot up the photos to show you what awaited after a day fuishin' at Lower Pavilion-all adds to the fun of the fair and delay at the Loss Adjusters BBQ where I recycled the Le Cie loot on a B&W.
Huzzah!
