Salmon fishing in the Snow

I'm off to the borders for the rest of the week......

But what about the snow???

Am I wasting my time (with respect to catching a fish- fishing is never a waste of time ?

Any special tactics or specific methods other than deep 'n' slo'?

sometimes you find a wee flurry of snow actually helps- the air can feel warmer if the wind is not too brisk.
