It's a very soft rod by modern standards and is probably not worth much. Reserve may be £50?

Darren, I have had some success selling old Hardy rods on ebay. It seems people will buy on the strength of the Hardy name, never mind if the rod is outdated. I had enquiries from Japan, Austria and Holland but the postage costs put these buyers off. Good luck with your sale. Also, be aware the Post Office will not accept a 5' long tube, you will have to use a courier.

I got £100 for a fibreglass 15' salmon plank - that came as an unwanted part of a mixed lot at auction. www.pharos-international.co.uk (.com?) provide a very good cut price courier service for rods. Get a posting tube from a carpet shop.
