How is it everytime I book a couple of days off work for some fishing the heavens open and ruin everything. The Tummel and Ericht were rising fast this morning so the Tay will be out of sorts for my days off

You're not alone, I have a friend down here who missed the early fish on the Exe and now he's wondering if anyone has ever blanked because the water was too high ALL season... Exe up another 2 feet and filthy today (on top of an extra foot already). Another weekend washed out Could be worse though, at least there has been no flooding down here. Andy

Salmonking is right. You just have to work that bit harder, the fish aint confined to the pools, when they rest up it will be just out of the fast water. Will be up the Ericht myself Saturday.
