The Ness Association water in August is probably the best in the world. Be prepared to get up early wade deep and throw 40 yards, the locals do. Watch the tide times there will always be fish off the tide. The Little Isle is good but busy. The MacIntyre, both sides, can be good as is the Mill Stream and Weir pools. All good really, sometimes it is better to find a less favoured spot and try there.
Keep moving, or you will soon be told.
Great place, I love the banter with ther locals.

Just back from a couple of days in inverness(not fishing)seen a couple of fish lost to one rod on the mill stream in about an hours fishing.Nice tackle shop in the town centre with helpful staff and lots of goodies,a proper salmon fishers shop.
