Had the pleasure of fishing there last Febuary the most arm aching time of my life, average between 80-100 fish a day between 5 anglers. Fish between 8-18lbs fat as pigs. The only drawback was a 10 hour journey from hell in a 4*4.

You there chappy, I say you there. First some ner do well called Splish, or is it Splosh (?), posts threads about Trawler Fodder and now you have the effrontery to bring this great Forum that I, having posted here for three minutes, now own down to the level of Orange Blob munchers. Who the devil do you think you are? You obviously know nothing about salmon fishing and I bet you can't cast either...etc, etc etc, etc, etc zzzzzzz Top link. Argentina, great fishing, great shooting, great wine and the most obliging women in the world. Anyone fancy a gentleman's 'sporting' holiday next spring. It will be les than half the price of Russia or the Tyne at Bywell and twice the action Regards CLaG

I spoke to several groups that have fished the new cuban destination, the Isle of Youth this year. Apparently if you take the Perola instead of staying in the hotel it is Tarpon fishing heaven, with lots of 60-90lbers. I really fancy it for next year.
