Had the pleasure of sharing the beat with Scotty and his pal today, it was hard work but they were still hard at it when we left for Somerset at 4-30(pm)

Had two on Friday 7lb and 5lb, one colored the other just starting so returned them. Saturday had another 5lb Grilse with sealice!! Low water but we had to work for them. Found a whole shoal of fish at 4pm yesterday afternoon at the top of the beat, Salmon , Grilse and small Seatrout, we spooked them as we found them!! the wind had got up so we headed home. Definitely go back.

nah nuffin, stood in that run jst at carpark n swung the fly from side 2 side till bout half 6 but nuffin, neva saw anymore either but it was nice river eh? that grillse was a cracker freshest aveva saw, a wud go bac 2 hope the journey wasnt 2 bad. S
