Locally the Conwy & Welsh Dee, but if we don't get much rain I'll be thinking about Annan or Nith as alternatives.
Can't afford Tweed prices at this time of year.

Beyond me also John, the river is stuffed just now I here , hoping for rain to bring some fish through on our association water on the Whiteadder. Well a bit wet and windy on the Upper Spey today, plenty of fish in the pools but pretty coloured.
With all the wet weather most of the summer, it may not have been that great for fishing but at least the fish got a fair break and should be looked at as a good year for them.
The Spey closes at the end of the month and i think there will be plenty of spawning fish in all the burns, which is a good thing.

Just seen the chart ibm59 good belt of rain coming across the country. I hope its pissing down at Cranshaws in the Lammermuirs in the Whiteadders headwaters. ;D
