Does anyone know where I might lay my hands on this fly in different sizes ?. I'd be willing to purchase some from any forum member who ties them. The pattern includes his " turbo-disc" and there is an article ( with step by step ) on it in T&S Jan 2007. I very much like the look of it and he says it has brought him a lot of success both in low and high water conditions. With my success rate so far this year I need all the help I can get !

Before buying any of these I suggest that you search the fly tying thread for 'Turbo discs'- They can be quite hard to cast with certain set-ups and many feel that they are a bit of a gimmick. I love them. I have been tying a few this week. As for selling them, between the ostrich feathers, templedog hair and turbo cones, the raw materials must cost a couple of pounds... I certainly wouldn't want to part with any for a price you would want to pay These are the two main patterns I tie.. Sierra Gorva and Black Bear Green Helmet.

Ken- I don't think we ever got to these boxes. I would send you a few but I don't think I can spare one ( These are the big ones- I have rather a lot tied on bottle tubes and then there are the hook versions
