Hi guys
I must apologize, I very rudely failed to say hello to all before starting to post away on some of the fantastic discussions going on. Probably a bit over keen!
So, lets start again.
Hi, just signed up to the board, and already learnt a great deal - looks like a very informed bunch of people for me to learn from! I've been salmon fishing about 18 months now but living down in Wiltshire I don't get the chance to fish for the beasty as often as I would like. Perhaps I should have a go on some of the rivers closer to home than sticking to long drives to Scotland.
So far I ve had some success managing to catch a few fish, in fact I' been very lucky indeed (no monsters yet!) being closest and a reasonable price I tend to fish the Annan - I rather like Hoddom and Dryform beats although I ve had a few days on the Tweed and Tay which I loved.
I love tying flies too!
The name's Paul.

Welcome Paul, This is the place to be. There is enough experience and knowledge on this forum to write a volume of books! Enjoy your stay, Regards WM
