Are all the fish being caught on the fish Dee beats being recorded? I ask this question as Willie Gunns guest had 3 last Sat off Park and the web site only shows 2 for the week or have these fish been recorded late and shown up as being caught on the Monday???

Looks like you might be back to grue up there by the end of the week. Temp's are forecast to get as low as -10 up there on Thursday night.

Ever the cheerfull one Andrew. Where are you this weekend? Malcolm You will be safe this weekend, Andrews not heading north until the following weekend. Anyone fishing the Tay that week had better expect flood warnings....

Will be no floods where i go. Ideally a lift in water next week though as the Tay has been pretty low lately.
Heading north on Sunday 19th, if the Tay is quiet which it will be then i'm looking into a day on the Dee for some catching action. Weather permitting of course.
This weekend revolves around the boozer and rugby. Tyne's tough going in Feb, although a 25lb'er was caught the other day...

The 25lb fish was caught from Ballogie. Don't know which pool or any other info. Not been Lucky enough to fish this beat, YET.

Juniorspey,
Not sure whether you were asking about the Tyne fish? It was caught at Bywell.
That pool on the Dee where the 25lb'er is a cracking looking bit of water especially the tail end. Had a good look at it in September.

tyneandrew, thanks, I thought that it would have been there or wylam. I've never seen that part of the Dee but I've been on ardoe & murtle, but I might be on birse later on in April. How many have been caught on the tyne so far?? Blair

Blair
Upto the middle of last week there had been around ten springers reported from the Tyne. There are a good few beats who do not report catches so the total maybe slightly higher.

Hope so Graham. I have decided that if I can keep Malcolm well topped up with red wine during that week he might just leave a fish for me.

Fished Crathes yesterday. Didn't conect with anything although we saw the odd fish. Plenty of kelts aroung though.
The gillie said it had been hard going all week and that most of the fish were being taken in both the Ballogie and park/Lower Crathes areas.
I suppose it is early enough to be expecting great catches throughout the river.
