Yesterday I had 4 & 5lb broonies on the Spey has anyone else had any similar fish?

Not off the Spey, but I've had them from the Tay and the Leven (usually early and late in the salmon season).
Last year I was talking to a trout angler on the Tay and he was bemoaning the fact that he had only managed a couple of small plucks to his flies. Just as I was speaking to him I hooked and landed a 2lb brownie on a 1.5" Willie Gunn. I suggested he tried one; he didn't look too impressed!!!
