I have had a report that Alan Still had a fresh 6lb fish off Montcoffer .
No other details as yet. Perhaps the rise in water has brought a few in off the tide.

If that 12 lb fish came off Eden today that is two they have had. They had a 10lb fish Just over 2 weeks ago. Caught by the lad who looks after the beat. With levels peaking at 5 foot on Friday and now running at 1 foot 10 inches today- fish should be heading for Avochie. Frank

Two more reported off the river.
One last week at Laithers 9.5lb by Mark Robertson and a fish covered in long tailed sea-lice of Corniehaugh on Thursday.
Water out of sorts now with the heavy rain.

I hear a fish was taken from Carnousie, I assume it was retuned knowing who caught it.

It would have been but it was a bleeder.
However one was returned at Ardmiddle on Monday.
We have had Five at least this week and most of them Sea-liced.

Total fish reported so far this week is now 22. They are nearly all sea-liced and have been caught from Lower Inverichnie right up to the Huntly Angling Association.
They are all well spread out and this must be a record spring week for the River.
