09/06/2006 As of Friday morning the river is running quite low, Light showers are forecast but it appears that the weather is to continue being warm and dry for the week thereafter. Now that we are into June it might be worth targeting the sea trout. A little more rain sooner rather than later could liven up prospects. ****NEWSFLASH***** 4lb Fresh Salmon caught (& returned) on the the fly (see above "charm offensive") 15/04/06 by Alistair Leith at the March Pool 14lb Springer Caught on the fly 05/04/06 by Alan Robertson at the mount stream www.trinitygask.co.uk www.scottishflies.co.uk

Nothing that I don't understand. Seems a shame that all your river reports are edited out on an almost daily basis so that there is nothing to refer back to. Also seems a shame that you resort to posting "V" just to get your thread to the top so to speak.
Call me cynical (as well) but your sole intention seems to be to highlight the fly business. Don't get me wrong, I wish you every success with it and I would like to know more about your river. I think there is a better way to achieve this- post in classifieds and regularly update the Trinity Gask thread. Simple.
Oh, one last thing- " see above charm offensive"
maybe there is something I don't understand.

Rob I have been thinking the same way as you for a while now, maybe trinitygask should sponsor the site then both sides will get something out of the "reports". Its good that people take the time to write river reports but whats the point in reporting when nothing is being caught on a regular basis??

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto.
People pay money to advertise on sites like this. Without advertising revenue from sponsors, they often fail. The classified section is for people selling bits and pieces of tackle, the odd flies, etc. Therefore, it would be unfair for a registered business that does not support the site to use the classified section.

bit like when a salmon comes up and looks at what you have to offer and then sinks slowly to the bottom, happens to everyone from time to time
