I fished Forglen that same day and lost a fish in Middle Morrisons.

Thanks for the update - intelligence forms the basis for all subsequent offensive action.
Was the fish at the poundings on the fly - I always have difficulty fishing that pool.
Why Bogyoch - can you explain ??

Bogyoch.....the name of my house. Means bog dwelling. So there you have it. But it does have a good view of the Deveron.
The fish lost was on a small cascade.

Hi Bogyoch,
Nae fish - just troot (1 at 1.5lbs gave me seatroot sickness)
Forglen was great to fish as I remebered - Morrison's has changed a lot since I last fished it. I don't know if they have dug out the lower part of upper morrisons but I was nearly snorkeling out of there.
Saw 3 salmon I think - 1 above the house pool and a couple in lower Morrisons. Sun was very bright all day so went after trout when I saw the fish were down.
The great thing about Forglen is you can get some shade or shelter from the wind whatever. Ashogle was ok for paragliding (very windy).
Fished the run in to the Poundings late afternoon in shade but the flow was a bit slow I think - running at 0 on the gauge. Excuses !
