Well done!
Water has been long awaited on the Whiteadder. I was struck by indecision yesterday and had a few hours on the Till then a quick shot on the Whiteadder last night - didn't see any on Whiteadder, but one chap had a fish about 12lbs earlier.
Water has fallen in quickly though - would be nice to get a top-up this week.

Fantastic, and well done. Looks like you will be having many more early starts then to try and catch No.2.

Nice one Col, hope it's the first of many. Good to hear so many fish running through. Keep at them.

Good stuff Col, looks like the Tweed has slowed down again in terms of catches.

Way to go Col. Seems that you have got the hang of this salmon fishing lark. So what was the fly that you caught it on, or is it a well guarded secret now.

Good work salmonking, bet that was good fun on a single hander eh. Nothing beats fishing a full floater and seeing the take - well done mate.

At this rate, if this week is anything to go by, you certainly will have passed your seven fish in the next few week, and then you can be back on track for your 40 ish fish. Keep the pics coming.

Cracking pics and a successful outing Col - well done. A bonnie stretch of water too - I just love the falling spate rivers, dark water and the single hander. The editor looks a good fly for the water - I guess a size 10 executioner would do the same !! If you don't have any let me know - I'll pop a couple of doubles / singles in the post to you so you can try them. (I tie up quite a few for similar waters).
Cheers,
Altmor

Excellent stuff Col. Am up there for a week soon to fish for sea trout on the Till, so will definitely give the Whiteadder a look over then. Do you fish right down to summer level?

Well done that man ... again (green). What was the fly - did you have a crack with the executioner / arndilly fancy ? Well done whatever it was caught on - not a bad average for you of late !! Keep it up.
Cheers,
Altmor.

I think the the Title of the tread should now change from "At last" to, "Here is another". As Altmor said everyone is now Very Green. Keep going, you are now another fish closer to your 40.

well done, again ;D - I would say why stop now that you are on a roll and the river seems to be fishing well. See you were using you LPXe 13fter - how are you finding it? (not too bad obviously ).
