Police have just released the names of both people / terrorists who were arrested at Glasgow Airport. Singe Majeep and his neebs Singe Maheed. Police have also released the reasons given by the suspects, they thought it was RAMAVAN.  Hornet |

sorry to sound a killjoy, but I really think jokes like this should be kept to text messaging between like -minded friends. I, for one, have first hand experience of racial/religious crime, and it certainly is not a laughing matter, it has had a big impact on many totally innocent lives, mine included. That's all.

repectfully, i dont catergorise this as religious/racial. It was terrorism aimed at everyone regardless of race, creed or colour.
I think poor quality jokes are a proportionate response.

Stoater, I too have seen racial/religous conflict first hand and found that humour can be a great pacifier.Sometimes, there can be no better breaker of barriers than a good laugh. If jokes such as these offend, I apologise, but if extemists from wherever had a real good sense of humour,do you not think this world would be a far better place?

Christ it's an effing joke.
In future i will refrain from posting any joke that is seen as offensive. If your calling me racist then that's a different ball game and i will say to you get it right up you as I'm not.
I couldn't care what colour, race, creed or even if your a rankers supporter. I've served my country and spent it seeing jets taking off with LG 5oolb busters then returning empty knowing that someone's got it.
It's quite simple, it was a joke, intended as a joke, pure and simple.
If you want to call me racist then i will gladly meet you on any beat to discuss.

Not sure about poor quality Ross, Mrs S and I laughed for ages  ;D me too. was trying to sound moderate. have some symapthy with rob's point, but to me it was a joke about terrorists. If they go around trying to blow themselves and others to hell, then they have moved beyond the conventions the rest of us follow. They are fair game. |
