Or Easter Elchies, Carron and Laggan. Dave Andrew and Charlie might recognise a young looking Ian Boathwick netting a fish in the bridge pool, or Ian Galland (Laggan) at work in millionaires and Carron Pool.

See they had a fish today, first one since early April.
Tynespeycaster is on there this week, good luck to him.

They had one last week John. I was over last Saturday chatting to Wink at Macallan before the Junior Spey Anglers began their fishing. Macallan had one also last week. We have had 2 this week and the Aberlour AA have had 3, on fly. Salmondan is fishing down on the Aberlour Association Water this week with his father, but alas they haven't had a pull yet. Hopefully he will connect with 1 over the next couple of days.

Hopefully he will connect with 1 over the next couple of days. No such luck I'm afraid, plenty fish about but none for me High point of the week was the afternoon spent on private water courtesy of our very own munrokiller, muchos gracias . Lovely place to fish with no ironmongers to spoil the enjoyment and peace. I'll be back next year armed with a bit more savvy and hopefully the ability to put a decent line out more than once in 10 ;D.

My father has only just stopped complaining about the discomfort caused by Merlot trampling all over his balls. Serves him right for trying to sleep the beer off when the dog was around. Pot and kettle?

It was a great week, good company and catching two Springers, what more could you ask for. I hope to see you all up there next year, give my regards to your dad and Ken. . Pudsey

Does anyone know how Craigellachie are fairing this season in comparison to other seasons?
They seem to be reporting more fish than Wester Elchies over this season?

Does anyone know how Craigellachie are fairing this season in comparison to other seasons? They seem to be reporting more fish than Wester Elchies over this season? The water height is suiting Craigellechie along with Carron and Laggan, Wester Elchies fishes best when the Aberlour Sepa station is showing between 6" and a foot. For the last 5 weeks it reaches around this level on Saturday then it pours with rain again and the levels shoot straight back up. Sam always says he does not fish well when the Craig is catching.
