Any news on the Annan, wife offering a few days in the area next week is it worth bothering or is it too low?

Fished a day at Cleughead a week ago. Not many fish about then and I doubt the prolonged low water will be great for the Annan. However I see from Fishannan they had a few at Hoddom last week.

fished there today, lots of fish showing, I lost one saw a couple caught. It is a bit on the combat fishing style i.e. very busy but offers a good chance of a fish or two. If you do go, spend some time in the big loop of the river where the electricity cables cross the river, lots of fish showing there more than anywhere.

Hi,I'm also interested in visiting Royal Four Towns next week as it's apparently only £20 a day. Does anyone know if it's fly only or are you allowed to spin ? Cheers.
