Hornet, I assume you got your fish yesterday and not today.. I see Park posted one today, which is good going considering the amount of water that came down. Was you the lucky rod Graham.. ? SAY

Just got home from my day on Park South and am please to say that my Dad and I landed our FIRST springer (EVER) 7lb and 6lb, we won't forget today in a hurray.
We have been fishing for around 20 years and to date have failed to land a fish before the end of May.
I would also like to say a big thanks to Kenny (the ghillie) for the hospitality and of course putting us in the right spot.
Now the monkey is off our backs, here's hoping our next springer doesn't take another 20 years.

I see Cairnton had a good week with 8 fish - best 21.5lbs.
They don't report direct to fishdee but follow the link...

Thanks all,
No I didn't manage a pic as I laid the fish in the water and by the time I got my camera out of my wader pocket it got a lease of life and disappeared into the depths.
A picture would have been nice but seeing it swim away was enough for me.
For info, I got the fish on a NessC (1 inch copper tube)

We had a clonker of 25lbs that was covered in lice,39.5 inches and in the words of the Falk "Fat as a pig".A real priveledge to net it and if its the biggest of the Dee so far a real honour that Park was the fortunate beat.In fairnes the cast that took the fish was all off 55 yards and deserved a fish but 25 lbs. Yee ha.

Sound like a belter - well done that man.
Does anyone know if there is any particular reason LC&WD don't report there fish until the following day?
If anyone is fishing there soon (Jim?) could you kindly ask them to put them onto fishdee the same day as the suspense kills me ;D

Yeah, yesterday was obviously a very good spring day for them!
Only takes a few seconds to send a text though
