I wouldn't even bother replying to him Kercock - like I said in an earlier post under "Tips to Ghillies" that what we have here is the fishing equivalent of the 'missing link' - basically, what happens when cousins get married OR an extremely 'late' bairn.  |

KERcock.. im new here but have fished your beat,,,but got the impression you had prefference towards the fly fishermen,,  ,,, i like to have a go with the spinner ,, but on asking you if i could fish on this paticular stretch ,, you replied its for the fly guys   are you sure you were on Kercock? I have fished there and this is certainly not true what you are saying. There is plenty of opportunity to fish both fly and spinner. I have seen chaps using various methods on each pool. Dennis or Gary definately do not enforce fly only on any part of the beat. Are you sure you were not trying to fish the same bit all day? ?  |

I have not fished Kercock yet but from what i have read in this forum from members who have then it sounds hard to believe that this would have happened. I can't recall reading anything bad about this beat or Dennis, in-fact quite the opposite. Hornet |

Look lads,thanks for your support,the area he refers to is called the Cottage Stream, when this fuckwit asked about it there had to be flyfisher/s in it or heading for it. It is also spun but never if there are flyfishers in it, common sense really.. but thanks again........................Colin,where have you got to ?? |

Dennis - and other forum members. We all know this guy is a total tube. If it wasn't you it would be someone else (you or me). Lets not 'rise to the bait' - that's what balloons like this thrive on. The important thing is that ALL your fishers and those who know you know what a well run 'ship' you, and Gary, operate. I say - lets ignore him regardless of which thread he ends up 'contributing' to as he is simply having a laugh at all of us getting our waders in a twist. Lets not give him that satisfaction. |
