OK boys, Ive spoken with Jock and Friday 11th May is the only realistic oppourtunity if you want prime fishing, otherwise maybe sometime around June 21/22 which is a fishing slot I have yet to fill. I am happy to allow half rods on an AM/PM basis, we will also set aside an area purely for tackle testing and review so you could fill a day but only pay for half. Decent accomodation is available very near at very good prices and you could try and do the doule with Kercock if you wished. Any takers? Should have stressed 11th May for me - can't do the June date as fuishiein' elsewhere

Springer I would have been delighted to come along and join Forum members - great idea - but I'm fishin' on the Dee that day (well all week actually). If you get another good idea like this I'll hope to be free next time.

Great idea, unfortunately I can't make May 11th. As luck would have it I'm due to be in Edinburgh the following week for a conference, so could do 18th.

Alan it sounds like an excellent idea but unfortunately it falls right in the middle of my back to back shift so I am working Wed,Thurs,Fri,Sat,Sun,Mon,Tues nights for 12hr shifts and am running low on holidays. If any more days like this are organized and it falls on a non work day then I will do my best to get there.

Would be very nice Alan, but all my annual leave for this year is already set aside for fishing trips & hols.
It would be good to plan some good Spring fishing for 2008, but to do it a bit earlier, before people have booked their fishing. I wonder if WG could organise a prime beat on the Spey next May for 6 rods - I wish! ;D ;D ;D

I wonder if WG could organise a prime beat on the Spey next May for 6 rods - I wish! ;D ;D ;D Would you prefer Delfur or Rothes? I'm sure he would, especially if he was on his Ghillie's rate of £350 a day. However, I'm also sure that he will only charge members of this forum his Janitorial rate. ;D Once I get the fishing I will work for the janitorial rate. In the meantime make the best of the Tay.

Go for it WG - either will do me just fine! PT I'm now trying to get Claudia Schiffer to help with the lunch; if anyone believed I could get Rothes or Delfur in May they will believe the last bit as well.
